DayWithClarity Extension: Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 1, 2026
DayWithClarity Extension is a Chrome extension for DayWithClarity (daywithclarity.com). It blocks the websites you choose while a focus session runs in DayWithClarity. This policy tells you what the extension does with data.
What the extension keeps
The extension keeps two things in your browser's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local):
- Your focus session state: if a session is running, paused or on a break, when it ends, and the title of what you focus on.
- Your website blocker settings: the mode (block list or allow list) and the list of sites.
The extension gets this data only from the DayWithClarity web app open in your browser. It does not get it from any other site.
The pages you visit
To block a site, the extension compares the address of the page you open with your list of sites. This check happens only in your browser. The extension does not record, store or send your browsing history or the content of any page.
What the extension sends
Nothing. The extension makes no network requests, has no analytics and no tracking, and does not share or sell data to anyone.
Your DayWithClarity account
You set your list of blocked sites in DayWithClarity, under Preferences → Website blocker. DayWithClarity saves that list in your account, so it is the same on all your devices. You can change or clear it there at any time.
Removing your data
Remove the extension from Chrome to delete all the data it keeps in your browser.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, we update this page and the date above. For questions, use the contact email on the extension's Chrome Web Store page.
